August 12th, 2010- "Lunch and Network"- Come to this fun monthly event where you will network with some great Boulder County attendees and hear a fabulous speaker. Lunch and Network events are a great opportunity to meet local men and women business professionals from all walks of life. You can also meet Tobi Hunt in person and purchase purse power pins! Join us from 11:00 AM until 1 PM at A Spice of Life Events Center at 5706 Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder, Colorado. Eight vendor booths are available each month for an additional $30.00 plus the cost of lunch. It is first come, first serve.
August 7th, 2010 "Breakfast and Network" This is a mini women's group that started March 2009.
A delicious homemade breakfast is included in the $5.00 cost.
It is a intimate Saturday morning version of Lunch and Network where 10 sassy women can network and really get to know each other. We will practice our 30 seconds commercials too. This will create strong relationship and community amongst its members.

July 20th, 2010 "Dinner and Network" This is our newest networking group where 10-15 fabulous women get together once a quarter for a pot luck dinner at the home of one of our hostesses. It is $5.00 to attend. Just bring a dish!
This is another way to get to know and support the amazing women of Boulder County!
My next event is at the Boulderado Hotel on August 28th at 11:30 AM. Register to attend at www.hatsoffto.com. It is an elegant luncheon for women in Boulder, Colorado to support Boulder County Mental Health.

The story is Women "coming into their own" in terms of business ownership.
Tobi Hunt, vice president of programming for the Boulder Chapter of Business and Professional Women, is seeing the same trend.
Most of the people attending the Lunch and Network group she runs are sole entrepreneurs, she said, and Hunt has seen an increase in the number of women business owners who have joined the group.
“I just think it’s really time for women to come into their own and start their own businesses, and there’s a lot of resources in this area to help them do that,” Hunt said.
